What is in a Mello Roll.
Fresh frozen flower is washed into ice water hash, freeze dried, and pressed into rosin with heat and pressure. That rosin is cured, then threaded through the center of a cone of ground flower we picked to match it. The roll rests before it ships so the first pull is smooth, not harsh.
The outside is flower. The inside is the same rosin that goes in our jars.

Pick the flower
The outside has to grind clean, pack evenly, and get along with the rosin inside it. Two loud strains fighting each other is the classic miss.
Press the rosin
Ice water hash pressed cold and slow. The rosin cures before it goes anywhere near a cone.
Set the core
The rosin column has to be the right width and firmness. Too thin and it does not catch. Too thick and the joint canoes. Too soft and it moves.
Let it rest
A fresh built hash hole smokes harsh. A rested one has settled into itself.
